The Hamilton Army Airfield is a former military base and current 414-acre planned mixed-use community in Novato, CA.

The partners at UMD led the effort to maximize revenue potential from City-owned properties on the former Base via public-private partnerships to restore numerous historic buildings and create new housing with the goal of continually improving the Hamilton neighborhood. Product types included townhomes, senior housing (supported living and memory care), a new pocket neighborhood (see Hamilton Cottages).
